Responsibilities

1. Presiding Officer of the Senate: The Vice President serves as the president of the Senate and presides over its daily operations and debates.
2. Tiebreaker: The Vice President can cast a tie-breaking vote in the Senate when there is a deadlock.
3. President of the Senate: The Vice President is assigned to preside over the Senate and oversee its operations.
4. Special Task Forces: The Vice President can be assigned to special task forces or committees by the President.
5. Goodwill Missions: The Vice President can be sent on goodwill missions to represent the President and the country.
6. Ceremonial Duties: The Vice President can be called upon to perform ceremonial duties such as attending celebrations and dispensing advice to the President.
7. Presidential Succession: The Vice President assumes the office of the President if the President is unable to continue in office.
8. Advisory Role: The Vice President serves in the President’s Cabinet and advises the President on various matters.
9. Representation: The Vice President represents the President and the country at various events and functions.
